• A MAGIC way to finish!

  What a brilliant way to end the year with a magic show! The children had a wonderful time joining in, making handkerchiefs vanish, creating balloon unicorns and of course using their magic fingers to colour in Gareth's book. We loved it!

   

  

• Leavers 2021

  As we draw closer to the end of the school year, it is a great time to look back on the year that has passed. In particular, this week we have been celebrating our Year 6 Leavers and their time with us at MBHT.

   

  This years Leaver's Service was a little different again but we still gave the Year 6 an amazing send off. From hoodies to Leaver's books, the Juniors came together to praise the Year 6 and to remember all the fun we have had together.

   

  We have an amazing group of Y6 children and it's been a privilege to see them grow into the young people they are today. 

   

  Year 6, we wish you all the best of luck as you start your next chapter in your story. Life has peaks and troughs and we know you will have the strength, courage and perseverance to handle them all!

• MBHT Bike Team

  Our bike champions had a very successful and fun weekend racing for the school. Yesterday Alfie, Fred, Harry and Bill took park in the school's grass track and mountain bike racing championships at Whitworth Park. 

  They all did amazingly well with Alfie getting a gold medal in the grass track event and Fred getting bronze. In the mountain bike race Fred came in second getting a shiny silver and Alfie bronze. What an amazing achievement and very exciting to watch!
  
  Bill and Harry were awesome and despite being the youngest in the event did so well. Bill came 5th in both events and Harry 7th.
  
  They are very happy and proud of their achievements. A proud moment for MBHT!

   

   

  

• Infants Sports Day!

  What a great morning we had! The infants were amazing in their teams, tackling each challenging event in our Sports Day and trying their very best. We had so much fun!

  It was our last Sports Day with Mr Swain, our PE teacher, so we all worked extra hard to make it extra special. From javelin to relay, penalty shootouts (too soon?!) and speedbounce, there was something for everyone to shine in.  Our values were clear to see through the morning, with our wonderful children showing compassion, perseverance and a great sense of community - very proud!

   

  Our team names were:

  ✨Dragon Team

  ✨Harry Potter's Pizza

  ✨The Fireballs

  ✨Team Potato

   

  And the final results were in....

  4th place - Team Potato

  3rd place - Dragon Team

  2nd place - The Fireballs

   

  🎉🎉🎉1st place - Harry Potter's Pizza 🎉🎉🎉
