Doing things slightly differently here at MBHT! Monday 16th November is our Children in Need day! The Infants joined in with Joe Wicks on Friday morning for the final part of his sponsored event. We're all dressed in our PJs today and taking time to think about others.

It is always important to take time to reflect and today is particularly important. ❤ On Remembrance Day, we think about how fortunate we are and say 'thank you' to those who gave their lives for us so we could have a better world to live in. As always, we held our minute silence as we listened to The Last Post, read an extract from 'On Flanders Field' and shared a prayer together.

The children in the Juniors have been reading a book called 'Crater Lake' and we arranged a virtual meeting with the author of this book!
Jennifer Killick 'came to school' and held a session with the Juniors and then the Infants. It was a great morning and the children were so excited to chat with another real author of a book they'd read! The infants had lots of fun too: so many questions! The Juniors were desperate for an early preview to the sequel but she was giving nothing away!! We will await its publication date!
