  We would like to say a HUGE thank you to the children and families that took part in the sponsored reading challenge. Your hard work to fundraise meant that the school had nearly £500 to spend on new Usborne books. The teachers have carefully picked texts to enhance the children's learning experiences, linking many of them to the exciting class topics.

• Experiencing Easter with our church

  This morning we enjoyed a journey around the church garden, into the upper room of the church and back into our playground as we heard the different parts of the Easter story retold by members of our church community. We are so proud of the ways in which our children reflect on things and talk about their ideas. We have some deep thinkers here at MBHT! Thank you so much to Sheila, Pauline, Nick, Mike, Val, Tony, Jane, Barbara, Michael and all the other people who generously helped create another festive and memorable event and encouraged us to ask questions, consider feelings, and enjoy getting ready for this special time of year.
