• National Sports Week

  ​Last week was a particularly active one with lots going on for National Sports Week! The children ran or walked half a mile every day to raise money for Water Aid, Cancer Research and our school. In fact, some children ran even further! Mayté and Tom organised the fantastic dodgeball competition and some of our juniors gave their all at the inter-school 'South Peak Sports' competition. The week ended with a mini olympics where everyone had a great time taking part after their final half mile.

   

  

• KS2 final violin concert!

  A very big well done to Oak and Ash class on their violin performance last Friday. It was great to see and hear what they have done over the year with their music teacher Jo. Thanks to all the families who came to support them! 

  

• Intra school Dodgeball!

  A wonderful competitive sports afternoon was organised by Tom and Mayté today! Our whole school participated in our Dodgeball competition. Teamwork, sportsmanship and respect were key values throughout. The afternoon finished with a staff/parents team against pupils! We all had such good fun and the rain held off! 

  

• Whitehall!

  Ash class are having a great time so far at Whitehall on their residential trip! Day one: zip wires and rope courses followed by a long walk!
