What a surprise!
Well, this was a most unexpected Friday enrichment time! Mr Morley (Mr Swain's work experience colleague) had read in the newspaper during lunchtime that the renovated swimming pool at The New Bath hotel would be officially opening in the afternoon. It sounded like an opportunity not to be missed so I phoned to invite ourselves over! We met two Olympic swimmers and were very inspired by watching them take to the pool, gliding past us effortlessly. Toby and Tim were interviewed by Radio Derby and the editor from Derbyshire Life magazine asked us to send her some of our photos so look out for us appearing soon! What an afternoon!
