• Teaching Talons in Willow Class

  Wow! What a brilliant morning! Becky from Teaching Talons virtually joined our classroom today with three special friends, a Giant African Land Snail, a Leaf insect, and a tarantula. We learnt lots of interesting facts and loved seeing how they moved. Becky was very impressed with our knowledge and that we knew the difference between something being poisonous and venomous. 

   

  

• MBHT Bike Team

  Fred, Bill, Alfie and Harry took part in an individual time trial and in a head to head race around the old Airfield at Darley Moor. It was their first ever event and all 4 of them tried their absolute best even though they all had tiny bikes in comparison to the others! They weren’t put off by this and peddled to the max and did MBHT proud!
  
  The official results haven’t been published yet so we don’t really know where they came in the time trial but they all peddled as fast as their little legs could carry them! In the head to head, Fred was the first to cross the line for MBHT with some awesome peddle power, followed soon after by Alfie, Bill and Harry. They had an absolutely brilliant day. Huge congratulations to them all!
