• Fish, chips and ice cream!

  Our last dinner together as a group!

  We were lucky to have fish, chips and peas or beans in a take-away box, and to enjoy this on the grass outside. Ice cream with sprinkles, strawberry sauce and a pink wafer were to follow! Delicious! Happy summer holidays everyone!

• Mrs Martin's last day of singing!

  Mrs Martin has been a big part of our school for many years and today was her last day with us! We finished the day with a good sing-a-long together! Good luck Mrs Martin, we will miss you! 

  

• Year 6 Leavers Service

  We had a special and memorable afternoon as we said our formal farewells to nine awesome young people, and one wonderful teaching assistant - Mrs Martin! The plays, written by Hannah and Molly, and performed by Ash Class, were spectacular, the singing made our hearts swell and we loved seeing how much you children have changed from your baby photos! Thank you for all you have given to our school during your time here (slightly longer than the children in Mrs M's case!). Your unique personalities have shone through and we will miss you all. We wish you happiness, health and success as you start your new adventures xxx

   

   

   

  

• Sports Afternoon!

  A super sports afternoon was had by all in the hot sun on Thursday! Thank you to all that came to watch, and to the parents who helped with refreshments. Joint first place were Haddon and Hardwick, with Chatsworth and Sudbury taking joint second! Well done everyone!

  What a fantastic morning some of our year sixes had today! Meeting an Olympian and getting to try Judo, Boxing, Wrestling and Fencing with expert coaching. Well done to the children who took part and did themselves proud! Also a big thank you to parents who gave up their time to help with transport.
