• Community clean up time on Family Friday!

  What a mess! 

  We were so pleased to help the local community with the 'clean up' campaign. Alfie's mum and dad led our afternoon where we all wore gloves & took bags and grabbers around the areas close to our school (literally the car parks!) to help 'pick up plastic'. We were stunned at just how much we found. Thank you to everyone who came to help! Alfie's parents gave everyone a packet of seeds to plant somewhere as a little token of the great things we can do to help our world. 

  

• Surprise trip - Jumpin' fun!

  Surprise fun in Derby! Nobody guessed where we were off to on our surprise trip out in the coach last Wednesday. As predicted, there was lots of guessing, with every place we passed being named as 'the place'! We had such fun! Pizza and chips for lunch then bounce, bounce, bounce during the afternoon! We saw our school motto in action at Jumpin' Fun with so many of us (adults included!) branching out of our comfort zones to tackle the challenges facing us. Take a look at our pictures...

  

• Dogs Trust

  It was great to have Sarah in from Dogs Trust again. As part of our safeguarding work, we learn how to stay safe around dogs and what it means to be 'dog smart'. She also helped those of us who are a little unsure about what we should do if we're feeling nervous with dogs. There was some great acting to help with the messages!
