Willow class spent the day exploring the local town of Chesterfield, looking at how it and the church prepares for Christmas. Ingrid led our day, starting at the library, which was busy from start to end. We had a walk around the market square looking out for Christmas things to write on our lists. Next, we went inside to see the Winter Wonderland display and had some questions to answer. After heading back to the library, we all created an angel decoration before enjoying our picnic lunches. The final part of the day was spent in the Crooked Spire, and learning how the church prepares for Christmas too! A few sleepy friends were on the bus during our journey back to school. Phew!
