As always, our Sports afternoon was a huge success! We were blessed with dry and warm weather and enjoyed a fabulous time together. Mr Swain and our wonderful Year 6 sports leaders did a super job of organising the games and leading their activities. A huge thank you to all the parents and family members who joined us and especially to those who joined in our fun - there was a real sense of danger this year! We had a refreshment break where tea, coffee and muffins were available to the 'grown ups' and ice lollies were gratefully accepted by the children! Chatsworth took the crown for 2019, being the overall winners after collecting the highest number of points - 1727 - throughout the afternoon. Thank you everyone!
Woo hoo! What fun! Lots of children applied to take part in this year's MBHT's Got Talent, with an eclectic mix of acts. Our show took place in the afternoon and we were all treated to some super performances. Seth, Ellie and Ptolemy were our fabulous hosts, introducing each act and leading the whole show seamlessly. Well done to everyone who was brave enough to take part - it's not easy! The judging panel consisted of myself (Mrs Swain!) Mrs Pearson and Sheila (a Governor). Each judge was delighted to press their 'Golden Buzzer' and send three acts through to the final. After much deliberation, the winner was announced. Third place went to Joe, second to Faraday and …. Well done to the winner - Nathan! A truly beautiful performance of 'Sing' by Gary Barlow. Watch out for him, and all the others from MBHT, on TV soon! Some truly OUTSTANDING talent here and we couldn't be more proud!
Oh my goodness, what a wonderful time we had this weekend! Oak class made MBHT history by going on their first residential and what a residential experience it was! From the moment we arrived until the moment we left, we made awesome memories with our friends. Bush craft, high rope climbing, camp fire, team challenges, rounders and SO MUCH FOOD!! Here are just a few pictures from the hundreds we took. Enjoy!
