National Poetry Day 2017!
Oak and Ash class recited poems of their choice for National Poetry Day 2017! There were some fabulous poems written by the children to accompany famous and less famous verses and rhymes. We had a great chat about which poems we enjoyed, and why, and noticed the features that were included in them, making links to the Boomtastic devices we are learning about in reading and will be using in our writing. Thank you to all the families who helped the children practise at home! A couple of videos can be seen in our gallery page - we apologise for the sound quality!
