In church on Wednesday 18th March, we learnt about Palm Sunday – the day when Jesus went into the city, greeted by large crowds that threw their coats and palm leaves down to form a path for Jesus to follow. We looked at the story of Palm Sunday from the perspective of someone else that was present – the donkey that carried Jesus on its back. The children really enjoyed Richard's (the wonderful man behind the donkey puppet) storytelling and listened well as the donkey told them his story and what it was like to be a part of history.
