In Autumn Term 1, Willow Class delved into the topic of Let's Explore. They looked at the environments that they share with others, including their homes, school and places in the local community. Willow Class went on a walk around the local area, looking at the different buildings they could see and how their uses have changed over time. Reception started to look at shapes within the classroom and used their knowledge on journeys around the school and local area to spot where these shapes appear around them. Year 1 and 2 began to look at maps of the local area to find key places for them, like school and their houses.
