Oak and Ash class trip to Lakeside Arts Centre

We had a fantastic time exploring artefacts in the Vikings exhibition at Lakeside Arts Centre, by the University of Nottingham today. After fact-hunting, sketching and noticing carved artefacts, we set to work carving soap. Time in the playground ended the day perfectly. The exhibition is on until March 4th and is well-worth it - so much to discover about a Viking way of life in preparation for our next project: Lost Legends.
